Nick entered the world of beauty and glamour under the mentorship of Vidal Sassoon in the heyday of the hair stylist’s fame. Hairdressing became the foundation of a deep dive into the world of fashion and style. The salon was located in the heart of Manhattan and catered to the world’s most glamorous models, actors, musicians and celebrity clients.
Nick’s lifelong love of photography, along with his unique, experimental approach to hair and beauty combined into setting up a studio to photograph fashion, style and portraiture. As a renown celebrity hairstylist, appearing regularly on the NY talk show circuit, he quickly attracted the attention of clients such as Wella, Sebastian and Kenra.
His visual command of imagery brings a cinematic sensibility and unexpected radiance to his work. His passion is to make the beautiful more sublime and the unique more fascinating.
Nick’s work has taken him on location to London and throughout Europe and the Far East. He currently resides in the wilds of downtown Los Angeles, in his studio in the historic Federal Reserve Building.
