Tulle Reverie in Malibu

In a quiet, sun-drenched canyon in Malibu, we created a dreamlike editorial that brings together delicate textures, romantic light, and a strong feminine presence. Model @judithbtec moves through nature wrapped in layers of sheer tulle, soft satin, and sculptural lingerie—each look styled to float between vulnerability and power.

Styled and produced by Andru Wallace (@andi_ism), the wardrobe featured ethereal gowns and barely-there lingerie pieces, capturing both softness and structure with every step and pose. The styling plays with transparency and movement, creating a story that feels both intimate and cinematic.

Hair artist @am_hairstylist designed a wet, windswept look that blended effortlessly into the organic landscape, while makeup by @albertelizondo added a soft glow with flushed cheeks and luminous skin. Together, the beauty direction amplified the story’s romantic, undone edge.

Shot by photographer @nickberardi in natural light, the editorial is a portrait of contrast—of fragility and strength, fashion and wilderness, skin and softness. It’s a quiet moment suspended in time.

Braids in Motion: A Study in Shape, Shadow & Texture

This editorial shoot with model Andi Zeyi, styled by Andru Wallace, was an exploration of form and fantasy. Long, gravity-defying braids became sculptural extensions of the body—swaying, swirling, and amplifying every movement with hypnotic rhythm.

We styled Zeyi in a range of looks that played with transparency, contrast, and color. From a striped blazer with sheer elements to a textured feather mini dress and a sky-blue fringe ensemble, each piece interacted dynamically with her braids, casting kinetic shadows and sweeping across the frame like brushstrokes. Rich tones, glittering skin, and dramatic lighting tied it all together with warmth and contrast.

The shoot was all about motion—braids as lines, threads, tentacles, fringe—abstract and alive. Every image carries the tension between fluidity and structure, power and elegance. Andi’s energy brought each concept to life with fierce clarity.

Plastic Dreams & Neon Visions

In this editorial, the body becomes sculpture—wrapped in translucent structure, glowing color, and forward-pushing design. Plastic Dreams & Neon Visions is a collaboration between photographer Nick Berardi and avant-garde artist/designer Isaac Secret, blurring the boundaries between fashion, installation, and cinematic fantasy.

Shot in the industrial calm of Jude Studio in Downtown Los Angeles, this series explores a future where clothing reflects light as much as identity. Models are encased in sculptural acrylic, sheer vinyls, and mirrored panels—caught in bold light sequences that pulse like neon architecture. It’s part dream, part hyperreality.

Hair artist Anthony Montoya (@its_anthonymontoya) built liquid shapes and wet-sculpted finishes that played off the structures and shadows, while Albert Elizondo (@albertelizondo) painted the face like a surface—flushed skin, iridescent lids, high-gloss control. Together, the look was alien elegance, alive under pressure.

This shoot is a celebration of visual tension—sharp vs soft, future vs organic. Fashion isn’t just worn here, it’s inhabited. And the result is something cinematic, radical, and powerfully now.

Electric Identity: A Neon-Futurist Editorial from the Heart of LA

There are shoots that live at the intersection of fantasy and fashion—and this one was exactly that. Inspired by the energy of a digital age and the pulse of downtown Los Angeles nightlife, this beauty-forward editorial was all about transformation, intensity, and movement.

With saturated blue gels, prismatic reflections, and pulsing light trails, the mood was unapologetically futuristic. We used in-camera motion blur, custom lighting techniques, and expressive styling to create a world that felt somewhere between fashion dreamscape and hyper-modern music video.

Model Leona Naomi (@leonanaomii) was electric—every movement, every glance a frame-worthy moment. Her ability to shift between cinematic stillness and kinetic expression brought the visual concept to life. From graphic wet-look hair to iridescent skin and sculpted chrome eye makeup, every element was designed to reflect a new kind of beauty—fluid, edgy, and unforgettable.

Makeup by Mat Wulff (@matwulff) took shimmer and contrast to bold new levels. Hair by Justin (@ahappyjustin) sculpted ultra-modern shapes that played with light and motion. Styling by Baby Babushka (@thebabybabushka) pulled statement pieces from Balenciaga (@balenciaga), bringing structure and futuristic energy to each frame.

This shoot is a continuation of my mission to blur the lines between portraiture, fashion, and visual art. For models, brands, and creatives looking to make an unforgettable impact, this is the kind of work I live for.

Fierce, Fluid, Fearless: The Power of Presence with Whitney Mercy

When I stepped behind the lens for this shoot with Whitney Mercy, I knew we weren’t just creating photographs—we were building a visual statement. Shot in-studio at my Downtown Los Angeles space, this collaboration with Model of Choice agency was designed to highlight intensity, structure, and movement, captured through a cinematic and fashion-forward lens.

Whitney Mercy’s presence is magnetic. Her posture, her power, her ability to channel elegance and raw emotion—it’s the kind of energy photographers wait for. We stripped the shoot back to the essentials: dramatic lighting, sculptural silhouettes, and a subtle color story that moved from crisp monochrome to surreal blue atmospherics. Every frame was crafted to be bold, dynamic, and editorial at its core.

The team behind this project brought precision and passion. Hair by Anthony Montoya (@its_anthonymontoya) sculpted gravity-defying textures that amplified Whitney’s strong bone structure. Albert Elizondo (@albertelizondo) kept the makeup sculptural yet modern—highlighting natural skin with iridescent finishes that caught the light just right. Stylist Mike Sam (@mikesam_creative) pulled looks that walked the line between futuristic fashion and timeless tailoring: structured jackets, exaggerated sleeves, and avant-garde textures all played key roles.

The most compelling part of this shoot was the duality: strength and softness, precision and play. One moment, Whitney posed with fierce, architectural tension; the next, she was moving like liquid—alive under blue gels and bending light. These are the sessions that remind me why I do what I do. It’s not about chasing trends—it’s about translating presence into portraits that resonate.

This shoot continues my mission to elevate portraiture with a fashion edge—fusing editorial style with personal essence. For emerging models, creative professionals, and brand visionaries alike, my studio sessions are built to capture the story behind the image.

To Whitney, Model of Choice, and the entire crew: thank you for the trust, the artistry, and the energy.

Blonde Ambition: Behind the Scenes of the Barbie x BLONDME Editorial

In the world of fashion and beauty, iconic collaborations are rare—but when they happen, they create magic. I recently had the opportunity to photograph an extraordinary campaign for Schwarzkopf Professional’s BLONDME line in collaboration with none other than Barbie™ by Mattel. This collection celebrates bold femininity, diversity, and unapologetic color in a way that only Barbie and BLONDME can deliver.

Shot at my Downtown Los Angeles studio, the concept merged soft couture and powerful hair moments. From platinum curls to flowing braids and Barbie-perfect waves, each model embodied a different facet of modern blonde identity—with editorial precision.

As someone who began in the world of hairstyling under Vidal Sassoon’s mentorship, this shoot felt like a full-circle moment. BLONDME isn’t just a color line—it’s a creative tool that empowers artists and clients to explore identity, fantasy, and transformation. Working alongside the brand’s color team and stylists, I crafted a visual language that was cinematic yet clean, polished but playful—very Barbie, very now.

We leaned into vibrant backdrops, dramatic lighting, and intentional movement to tell each model’s story. Every look was styled to feel editorial but accessible, elevated yet inclusive. From pastel-lavender gowns to bold color-blocked prints, the fashion echoed the same message: blonde isn’t one shade—it’s a spectrum of confidence.

The Barbie collaboration is about more than nostalgia—it’s about redefining what beauty looks like in today’s world. And as a photographer, that’s my favorite story to tell.

Whether you’re a stylist, colorist, or just a lover of beauty imagery, this shoot is a reminder that photography is more than capturing a look—it’s about creating a feeling.
