NICK BERARDI STUDIO – POLICIES & FAQ

(By paying your holding deposit, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined below.)

DEPOSIT / HOLDING FEE & BALANCE

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due on the day of your session. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Bitcoin, and cash.

RESCHEDULING & CANCELLATIONS

We do not offer refunds for cancellations. If you need to reschedule, we require at least 7 days' notice. Rescheduling with less than one week's notice will incur a $100 rebooking fee.

In the event of severe weather (e.g., heavy rain or extremely dark conditions), we may need to reschedule to ensure image quality. If we reschedule due to weather, we'll offer the next available date or issue a full refund of your deposit.

LATE ARRIVALS

If you arrive late, your session time and image count may be reduced to accommodate our schedule. Clients who are more than 30 minutes late will be considered a no-show and forfeit their deposit. No exceptions.

NO-SHOW POLICY

Failure to attend your session without prior notice will result in a loss of your deposit. Please be respectful of our time and other scheduled clients.

IMAGE DELIVERY & REVIEW

You will receive your proofing gallery within 2 business days via a private, watermarked online gallery. Final retouched images will be delivered without watermarks.

If you would like assistance selecting final images for retouching, we offer a $50 image selection service, where Nick will personally review your session and provide a curated set of top picks.

FOR PARENTS / YOUTH CLIENTS

For clients under 18, a parent or legal guardian must be present during the session and remain within visual and auditory range. We provide a comfortable lounge area where you can relax and observe.

RE-SHOOTS & REFUNDS

All images are artistic works. Because artistic interpretation is subjective, no refunds or re-shoots will be issued unless a technical error occurs and you receive fewer than 100 images in clear focus. This is a firm policy.

IMAGE STORAGE & RETOUCHING TIMEFRAME

We store unretouched images on a secure server for 4 weeks after your shoot. If you haven’t selected your images for retouching within that time, they will be permanently deleted.

Need more time? Let us know before the 4-week mark and we can extend storage for $100/month.

MAKEUP & HAIR ARTIST

Our hair and makeup services offer a clean, natural look that enhances your features. Hair will be styled with dry techniques only.

Prep instructions:

  • Wash hair the night before

  • Arrive with a clean, makeup-free face

If you want a more stylized or specific look, please inform us in advance—additional fees may apply.

USAGE RESTRICTIONS

  1. No AI Training or Biometric Use: Your images may not be used for artificial intelligence, facial recognition, or biometric data purposes.

  2. No NFTs or Digital Assets: Unless explicitly licensed in writing, your images may not be used in any form of immutable digital assets (e.g., NFTs).

All rights not specifically granted remain the sole property of Nick Berardi Studio and the original copyright holder.
